Xdrive2c Mass Storage Solution for the Apple IIc & Accessories

Introducing Xdrive2x - Designed by JD Micro exclusively offered by MacEffects. Xdrive2x offers easy mass storage for the Apple IIc via block device emulation. It allows you to mount up to 8 images from USB or micro SD card.

Features:

• Fast floppy/hard drive emulation for ProDOS volumes. 
• Supported file formats for images are .po, .dsk, .2mg, .iso, .hdv, .do. (.dsk and .do are supported ONLY if they are ProDOS ordered )
• Works with your existing ROM 03, 04, 4X, or custom System ROM.
• Works with ZIP CHIP and 65816 adapter (optional cable/adapter required).
• Includes elegant sidecar that mounts under right-front side of computer; allows easy access to USB and micro-SD ports as well as status LEDs.
• Hot-swappable media.
• Copy images directly between media.
• Firmware upgradable without opening computer.
• Same simple and familiar user interface as Xdrive (for all slotted Apple II's)
• Mounts up to 8 volumes at once from mixed USB/uSD.
• Installs easily in CPU socket for fast and reliable access. DIP CPU plug eliminates any damage to motherboard socket.
• Compatible with MockingBoard MB4c and MB4c+ (with optional cable set). 
• Very early models with hairpin spring (non-ALPS) will require removal of the plastic brace underneath the keyboard or purchase our modern mechanical keyboard for the //c - Link
